ABOUT THE PILATES CENTER BOULDER COLORADO

The Pilates Center, located in Boulder, Colorado, was established in 1990 by sisters Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segel. The sisters trained in New York City at The Pilates Studio and were certified by Romana Kryzanowska, heir to the classical tradition of Joseph Pilates.
In 1991, The Pilates Center established their Teacher Training Program. Developed with the assistance of Romana Kryzanowska and Steve Giordano, the program has been labeled "The Harvard of Pilates Teacher Training Programs." Comprised of almost 900 hours, it is the most rigorous program available.

Centerspace Proudly Presents

The Pilates Center Teacher Training Program is one of the most respected, comprehensive, and intensive programs of its kind in the world. Students are taught “classical” Pilates and study every exercise on every piece of equipment in-depth.

Students will also be required to complete the Internship and pass exams before receiving their certificate of completion. There are 900 total hours required to complete the program. Upon completion, students may sit for the PMA Pilates Certification Examination.
